MODULE 1: ENGAGEMENT

ENGAGEMENT: THE STARLOOP SUPER SCRIPT

Upgrade Your Language And Get Maximum Reviews.

Your customers have a lot of choice and they're either going to pick you or a well reviewed competitor.

87% of consumers use Google reviews to decide where to spend money.

What this means is that most people seek out reviews, and you've got about 2 seconds get them to choose you. If not, that customer is lost to a competitor. That's why we're all here. To get reviews and be the market leader; be the obvious choice. Because with enough online reviews, you can make your competition irrelevant and have customers lining up to work with you.

But, when it comes to getting those influential five-star reviews, did you know that asking "for a review" is one of the worst ways to get a review? When we ask "Hey Rhonda, can you write me a review?" she knows that she's being asked for a good review (because we wouldn't be asking if we wanted a crappy 1-star review, right?) Asking someone for a review is a loaded question.

A Loaded Question

Yup. Asking for a review is a loaded question, and loaded questions are

  • Awkward
  • Bad for engagement & conversion
  • Bad for getting reviews

The Starloop Magic Script

Back when we first launched Starloop, Forbes interviewed me because of two things. One, Starloop was the first to plant a tree for every review. And secondly, he was curious about our Starloop Super Script. I had been split-testing different words and phrases for over two years to come up with the best way to get reviews. What are these magic words that help you get more reviews? Let's check it out.

The Starloop Super Script

The Starloop Super Script is where it all starts. Nice, natural language that's easy to ask and easy to be asked. It goes like this:

"Can I invite you to leave us some online feedback? A tree gets planted for every review we get!"

Every word in the script can justify its existence. There's no fluff and no filler. Most importantly, there is no awkwardness AND we're using the Law of Reciprocity with tree planting, which is dynamite for getting more reviews.

What to Expect

Once you replace the tired old "... can you write us a Google review?" with the Starloop Super Script, you'll notice your engagement and conversion rates increase. This means more five-star reviews for you.

DON'T

  • Use loaded questions when asking people for an online review

DO

  • Use the natural language in the Starloop Super Script
